Spring Awakening

Spring Awakening

Join VortexHealing® teacher, Lorraine Goldbloom and astrologer, Laura Campagna, for a special Equinox event to welcome in rebirth at the Spring Awakening on March 21st at 7PM ET.

The Vernal Equinox initiates us into the solar time of the year when the days grow longer and the nights shorter. The light has been steadily increasing since the Winter Solstice, and now reaches a tipping point. For the next 6 months, there will be more Sun in the sky; more day than night. It is an activation of our public self and a chance to connect with joy in the doing-ness of life.

At this Equinox event, we’ll take a moment to honor the end of Winter and all that we’ve been through, and welcome the start of Spring–all that we’re hoping for over the next 3 months. We’re at the mid-way point between Solstices. Now is the time that the seeds we planted in December come bursting forth. Growing like little shoots till the fullness of Summer.

Laura will offer an exploration of the pagan festival of Ostara, which celebrates the divine child that is reborn as the Earth comes alive after her long slumber. There is a stirring in our hearts and a fire in our belly as we feel inspired to go out and do something! The Vernal Equinox is a powerful moment to take action on what you’d like to grow during this period of fertility and abundance.

Lorraine will guide us through a meditation on balance and connecting with our inner divine child. She will then provide an energy healing to help shake off any doldrums and get us ready to greet the new dawn feeling fresh and ready to take on the world.

We are not here for the male gaze, and reject the misogyny, racism, and homophobia rampant in mainstream representations of the art form. We have ownership over our own bodies, you won’t see us as ornaments or valets in our universe.

We accept people of all colors, ability, expression, experience, strength, and size into our ring. We use this ring to explore issues of power, stereotypes, discrimination, health, and rights. We love to kick each other's asses, as much as we love keeping each other lifted up and supported. We want to inspire you by showing you our strength, gusto, and heart. And we always punch up.

Elemental Tarot

Elemental Tarot uses the 4 suits–earth, air, fire, and water–as a framework to explore the spiritual qualities underlying fundamental areas of life such as money, love, purpose, and philosophy. Each of us has particular strengths we came here to share and challenges we intended to meet. Tarot helps us gain clarity into how we’re relating to these qualities in ourselves and the world at large.

This class will investigate your relationship to life, and provide insight and empowerment to move forward towards all the universe has to offer. Students should have their own tarot deck and the book “Tarot for Yourself” by Mary K Greer is a required text.

Winter Solstice Healing

Winter Solstice Healing

I’d like to invite you to a very special event to close out the year – a Yuletide celebration of the Winter Solstice on Tuesday, December 19th at 7PM ET. All life emerges from sacred darkness and at Yule we are invited to honor the old and clear space for the new.

Join me and VortexHealing® teacher, Lorraine Goldbloom for an exploration of Winter as a practice of blessed restoration. We will review what we’ve accomplished in 2023, and open to what wants to flow through in the new year. I will offer a healing to facilitate our release into the void and enchant possibilities moving forward.

The Winter Solstice is a magical time in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s the shortest day and longest night. On Yule we celebrate the death and rebirth of the Sun, source of all light and life in our corner of the cosmos.

The Winter Solstice contains a deep yin energy. It is a rich, dark, receptive space in which to pause, reflect, and renew. Modern society focuses on the results but skips over the incubation process.

Yule invites us to plant seeds of hope in fertile soil that will slowly germinate through the long winter months and sprout in the Spring. It takes faith to see things through. Yule is traditionally a time of bonfires. The energy healing session will light a candle in our hearts to burn through the darkness as our dreams develop into tangible reality.

Time takes time. Let us marinate in the richness of all that could, will, and wants to be at the Winter Solstice. This Winter Solstice event will support you in stepping forward with fewer cares and regrets trailing behind, into the burgeoning possibility of hope.

The Sting Fling

The Sting Fling

The final event in the Shine On Series is here!

Help me and VortexHealing® teacher, Lorraine Goldbloom, celebrate a beautiful year of astrology inspired energy healing events with the grand finale that will help you close out eclipse season with an exploration of the mystery and magic of the Scorpio at the Sting Fling on November 14th at 7PM ET.

Scorpio is a water sign known for its passion and intensity. They are extremely intuitive and empathic and can read the room like no one else. Often Scorpio can feel other people’s emotions in their bodies which causes them to put up self protective boundaries. They desire deep intimacy and are loyal, and sometimes possessive, in relationships.

The traditional ruler is Mars and Scorpios will protect and defend what they love with everything they have. Scorpio has an attunement to the workings of power and may try to influence situations to get the best possible outcome for themselves. They are not above working clandestinely and you’ll never see them coming.

Scorpio craves understanding about the mysteries of life and wants to get to the heart of the matter in all situations. They will push relationships to the edge to learn the emotional truth. They can become obsessive, and once they get fixated on something, there is no diverting them. Scorpio remembers everything because the emotional vibration resonates in their cells long after the moment has passed. The work is letting things go, especially pain and resentment, to allow for a smooth channel for emotions to flow.

Scorpio is resilient and can rise from the dead long after people count them down and out. Never underestimate Scorpio. They draw on their capacity for transformation and can resurrect themselves into a completely different form. Their work is to continue to evolve spiritually and develop their own natural healing abilities for the greatest good of their community.

Scorpio season is the witchiest time of the year when the veil between the worlds thins and we contemplate the beauty of death within the cycles of life and regeneration. Around the world there are festivals such as Samhain, Dia de los Muertos, and all Saints Day when people honor their ancestors, consider where they came from, and what they’d like their legacy to be for the future.

You are not going to want to miss this night of enchantment at the Sting Fling on Tuesday, November 14, at 7PM ET. This is an online event via Zoom and will not be recorded.

EquiLIBRAtion

Virgo season gets us ready for the balancing point of the Autumn Equinox on September 23, when the Sun enters Libra, and the wheel of the year turns again.

Don’t worry if life is feeling less than harmonious right now. Mars entered Libra on August 27, making us more indecisive, and throwing things out of alignment in relationships. The overlapping retrogrades of Venus in Leo and Mercury in Virgo have churned up big changes and it's not over yet.

If you’re looking for a little support in finding your fulcrum, join me and VortexHealing® teacher, Lorraine Goldbloom for the 2nd to last astrology inspired healing event in the Shine On Series at EquiLIBRAtion on Friday, October 13th at 7PM ET.

Libra is represented by the scales and is orientated towards partnership. They seek equity in all their affairs. Libra’s speciality is to find a middle ground between dissimilar positions. Libra asks us to consider other people’s point of view to create a more harmonious whole.

Decision making can take time for Libras because they weigh all sides, letting things hang in the balance until they have located the sweet spot in the middle. Mediation is an art form, but Libra’s perseveration can result in inertia. There is a reputation for being indecisive, and they may go along to get along, capitulating to what others want to avoid conflict.
Boundaries can be a challenge for Libra especially with Mars present until October 12. They can focus on others to the exclusion of themselves and easily fall into people pleasing. During EquiLIBRAtion we will contemplate how to connect while staying centered in self.

In astrological planetary days, Friday belongs to the goddess of love and beauty, Venus. The English word comes from her Norse counterpart, the fertility goddess Freya. Despite what patriarchal culture has popularized, the number 13 is sacred to the Moon because there are 13 lunations in a year. Come make merry on this magical moment, and celebrate the sign of the peacemakers at EquiLIBRAtion
